SiMT Manufacturing has once again been recognized for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, earning the Xometry Excellence in Manufacturing Award (EMA) for the eighth consecutive year.

Since 2018, the Excellence in Manufacturing Award has recognized Xometry manufacturing partners that consistently demonstrate exceptional workmanship, maintain rigorous quality standards, and deliver projects on time. SiMT Manufacturing is a not-for-profit advanced manufacturing and 3D printing operation managed by Florence-Darlington Technical College. The facility offers a wide range of manufacturing capabilities, including some of the industry's largest build platforms and an extensive selection of materials. SiMT produces durable plastic and metal parts, functional prototypes for real-world testing, production-grade thermoplastic components, and specialized products designed to simulate materials such as polypropylene and polycarbonate.

Florence-Darlington Technical College (ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´) has provided affordable technical education to many thousands of Pee Dee-area students since 1963.
