The easiest step of the whole process is to simply APPLY!

Step 2: We Need a Few Things From You

Depending on your transfer path, we need you to send us either your official college transcript or both your official college and high school transcripts or GED.

I have already earned a degree from another college institution.

Ask your college(s) to email an official transcript to admissions@fdtc.edu or mail to the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Admissions Office; Florence-Darlington Technical College, Office of Admissions, 2715 West Lucas Street, Florence, SC 29502-0548 You can also order your transcripts online through a transcript delivery service such as or or . Contact your school, school district or education program to determine which delivery service to use. Official Transcripts can be hand-delivered to the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Admissions Office in a sealed envelope from your high school or college.

I have not yet earned a degree, but I have attended other colleges.

Send an Official High School Transcript/GED and Official Transcripts from all colleges you have attended electronically to admissions@fdtc.edu or by mail to: Florence-Darlington Technical College PO Box 100548 Florence, SC 29502-0548 Sealed Transcripts/GED may also be submitted directly to the Admissions Office in the 5000 Building, Room 5313

Step 3: Access Your New Accounts

It's now time to access your student email, myÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Self-Service, and your Desire2Learn(D2L) accounts. 

We will be sending you all the directions you need to access these accounts so don't worry. You should receive this information the following business day after submitting your application.

If you have any trouble accessing these accounts once you have received your sign in information, reach out to our IT Help Desk at 843.661.8123 and they will make sure you can get in.

Step 4: Apply for Financial Aid

This step is very important! At ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ we want to make sure you explore all of your options for financial aid. The majority of our students qualify for some kind of aid so there is a very good chance that you do to.

Step 5: Register for Courses

Once you've been accepted, it's time to schedule an appointment with our Advising Center to register for courses. They will help you to make sure you're in the right classes for your degree path.
