ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Libraries Circulation Policy

• Limit: 5 items 

• Book:  3-week loan | 2 renewals   

• Models:  3-week loan | No renewals 

• Laptops: 1 semester (Can be renewed the following semester if currently enrolled.) 

• Calculators: 1 semester (Can be renewed the following semester if currently enrolled.) 

• MiFi's/Hotspots: 1 semester (Can be renewed the following semester if currently enrolled.) 

• Reserves: 2 item limits | 2-hour loan or overnight loan    

• Lost or Damaged items: Item price of not less than $40 and a $30 non-refundable processing fee per item 

• PASCAL Delivers items: Limit: 50 at a time | 6-week loan | Fines: If returned there is no fine. | Lost Books: $100/book, if not returned 

• Interlibrary loan: 1 month | Fines: If returned there is no fine.   |   Lost Books: Price dictated by Owning Library 

• Faculty checkout: | 1 semester

What do I need to print/copy?

A print card must be purchased from card dispensing machines located in all buildings. You can credit your card with any amount up to $20. Located near all copiers/printers are card readers.

Off-campus Library Services

Off-campus Library Services (OCLS) exist to support the mission of the college and to meet the informational research needs of ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´’s off-site students, faculty, and support staff located at the Hartsville, Mullins, and the Continuum sites, as well as students who attend online only. Students, faculty, and support staff must have an ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ issued ID card to checkout resources. Library services include the following:    

• Access to ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ online catalog 

• Access to all library electronic resources  

• Article databases  

• eBook databases  

• Streaming videos  

• Video databases  

• Ability to borrow  

• Resources from PASCAL - South Carolina academic library resource sharing

Can I borrow material from Francis Marion University or Coker College Libraries?

With a valid ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ identification card, you may borrow material from Coker College or Francis Marion University. The rules of the borrowing institution must be followed.

I'm not a student. Can I get a special borrower card?

Community residents with proper ID who receive special permission from the Library Director, Librarian, or "designated LTA" will be issued a special borrower card.
